Decentralized Physical Infrastructure
Own a slice of the
mobile-bandwidth network.
Snowpad is a DePIN — token-incentivized physical infrastructure. Like Helium for wireless or Render for GPUs, we turn idle mobile bandwidth into a public utility and pay the operators who run it. Your phone, your network, your earnings.
Operator payouts
Earned per gigabyte served
Payouts are locality-aware. Set by the operator, visible here — adjust any locality from the admin console without a redeploy.

Payouts settle monthly to your UPI / local payment method. Final amounts depend on traffic shape — sustained uptime on a stable ISP earns the most.
What is a mobile-bandwidth DePIN?
DePIN — Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks — replaces the buy-your-own-servers model with a token-incentivized public network. Operators earn by contributing real-world hardware, not by selling tokens.
Helium
wireless coverage
People run hotspots, earn HNT for proving radio coverage.
Render
GPU rendering
People contribute idle GPUs, earn RNDR for rendering jobs.
Snowpad
mobile bandwidth
People run phones / servers / home fibre, earn from residential proxy traffic routed through your device.
The pattern is the same. Real hardware, paid in money, governed by an open network. Snowpad operates in this tradition — your phone is a node on the network.
How it works
Create an account
Email and password. Email verification. No credit card, no app-store hoops.
Add your hardware
Pick what you have — phone, home fibre, VPS, IoT board. We capture what you tell us, nothing forced.
Get a token, share bandwidth
From the hardware, create a node. SnowGain (or your client) uses the token to route traffic through your device. You earn per GB served.
Any device, one platform
Mobile
Phones with SIM cards. The mobile app handles the tunnel — you just enter the token.
Pixel, iPhone, Galaxy
Datacenter
VPS or bare-metal servers. Static IPs, high bandwidth, premium rates.
Hetzner, OVH, AWS
Residential
Home broadband connections. WiFi routers, fibre, DSL. Real residential IPs.
JioFiber, Airtel Xstream
IoT
Embedded boards, microcontrollers, smart devices. Lightweight tunnels.
Raspberry Pi, ESP32
Questions operators actually ask
Does this hurt my battery or data plan?
SnowGain only tunnels when the phone is idle, on WiFi by default, and respects your carrier's limits. You set the caps in the app. Most operators see < 5% battery drain and 0 impact on normal phone use.
Is this safe to run on my personal phone?
The app never reads your personal data — contacts, messages, photos. It only opens an outbound tunnel to the network. You can stop the tunnel at any time from the app.
When and how do I get paid?
Earnings roll up monthly and settle to your UPI / local payout method. The exact rate per GB is shown above and varies by locality — set in the admin console, transparent to you.
What if my phone goes offline?
No problem. The pool routes around you. When you reconnect, you're back online. Offline phones earn nothing that day but your hardware is preserved — no re-onboarding.
Ready to run a node?
Two minutes to register. Add your first hardware. The network pays you for every gigabyte that flows through your device.
